The Law Society exists to represent, promote and support all solicitors, so they in turn can help their clients. We work to ensure that no-one is above the law and to protect everyone's right to have access to justice. We promote England and Wales as the jurisdiction of choice and the vital role legal services play in our economy.

As part of an exciting change programme, we are looking to recruit an Education and Learning Programme Lead. Working across the organisation, and with a dedicated programme team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Education and Learning plans and its services fit into the Shaping the Future Law Society’s operating model.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of a cohesive framework and protocol for Education and Learning. As well as overseeing the piloting and roll-out of new face-to-face and online learning & career development activities in addition to the procurement of a new online learning platform. The Programme will play a key role in the ongoing success of the Society.

We are interested in applications from candidates who have extensive experience of working at a senior level within Learning and Development, a proven track record in the development of a framework for learning (including identification of learning and career pathways) and experience of delivering educational and learning activities within a commercial context. This experience could have been gained within Membership Organisations, Higher Education or private sector training providers.

Candidates will need to have a proven ability to work in a complex environment and the success of the programme will depend on the successful candidate’s ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across the organisation.
