The role 

The successful candidate will support the Law Society’s elected and appointed members in discussing and deciding on issues that matter for the profession and the public. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of board and committee meetings. This will include drafting agendas and meeting minutes, and collating and distributing meeting materials. You will also assist with the appointment of new committee members.  

What we’re looking for 

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and will have experience of meeting preparation.  

You will have minute taking experience and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You don’t need specific legal knowledge, though. 

You have experience of working with senior stakeholders. 

You must be able to work flexibly. 

You will need to be able to pay attention to detail.
