The role

As one of four Marketing Executives you will be responsible for providing marketing support to a number of business areas within the Law Society which may include commercial events, Risk and Compliance, Accreditations and webinars. Managing your own workload, you will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns by writing copy, briefing creative agencies, manipulating and managing data sets and proof reading materials. You will engage with our stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver within agreed budgets and to deadlines as well as obtaining feedback from the Law Society’s members on the marketing campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Law Society's members.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Hardworking and enthusiastic individual
  • Previous experience in marketing at an executive level or above
  • A rounded set of marketing skills with a good knowledge of offline and digital marketing and media
  • Someone looking for a career at the Law Society

Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

• Degree level educated or equivalent.

• Significant experience in a b2b marketing role at a similar level or above.

• Strong planning and organisation skills with proven ability to multi-task and handle several projects simultaneously.

• Experience of working in a fast paced environment with accountability for delivering campaigns on time and on budget.

• Excellent written communication skills including copywriting.

• Experience of direct marketing via direct mail and/or email, including using mailing lists and conducting evaluation.

• Must be able to use Word and Excel proficiently.
