The Role

The Shaping our Future Programme seeks a Coordinator on a fixed term 12 month basis.

You’ll play a key role in liaising with Staff, Programme Managers, Project Managers, Project Teams and other key stakeholders to maximise the value and successful delivery of all the projects within the programme, in addition to organising events, workshops and team meetings. The successful candidate will possess excellent administrative, organisation and communication skills.

What we’re looking for

 

  • Self-starter, able to innovate, problem solve, work under own initiative and be comfortable with continual change
  • Drive to improve their skillset and develop as a junior Project Manager
  • Previous experience of Office 365
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint
  • Delivery focused with excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and specifically to communicate complex, technical information in a simple way
  • Experience of coordinating a group or individuals to achieve objectives of a project, providing clear direction and support when necessary
  • Ability to influence and create buy-in and understanding at all levels
  • Proven experience of being able to work under pressure to tight, multiple deadlines
  • A track record of delivering results by owning work and project activities, to ensure successful and measurable outcomes
  • Experience of organising meetings, workshops and events
