The role:

As the Resourcing Business Partner for the SRA you will be responsible for the delivery and evaluation of the resourcing strategy. Supporting the Head of Human Resources and Development, you will help to devise the approach and you will take the accountability for the implementation of the strategy in line with the organisations needs.

With significant experience of in house resourcing you will be an expert in your field, and strive to provide a high quality, consistent, first class service to all areas of the organisation.

Demonstrating a results focused approach you will lead and manage a cost effective and efficient end to end recruitment service and identify areas for improvement. You will analyse metrics and MI, set up effective methods of candidate sourcing, establish a network of contacts and develop the SRA's external employee proposition.

You will be proactive in your approach to partnering, open to challenge and demonstrate resilience; with the added ability to take the right approach at a strategic and granular level in changeable and ambiguous business situations. Engaging with key stakeholders you will also support the Senior Management Team with senior level recruitment.

Proven experience in succession planning, talent pooling, assessment centres and managing 3rd parties are critical to this role.

Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Proven experience in similar in-house resourcing role

Ability to assess business needs and talent markets and develop appropriate resourcing strategies

Experience of building relationships with and influencing managers at all levels in the organisation and externally

Evidence of taking the initiative in identifying areas for improvement and driving through solutions

Experience of managing senior and executive level vacancies and recruitment plans

Experience of managing third party suppliers in a true partnership model

Able to work in changeable and ambiguous business situations

Team player, fully appreciating the importance of constructive peer group relationships

Evidence of highly effective influencing and communication skills at all levels

Experience of managing costs within a budget, setting budget, and managing and forecasting costs

Proven Line Manager experience

Demonstrates a results focused approach through planning ahead, managing expectations and solving problems

Identifies and takes responsibility for own development and supports development of others

Ability to manage competing demands and manage own and teams workloads


Desirable

Previous experience of working with an e-recruitment system, preferably WCN

Broad understanding of HR practices and employment law and regulations

Working in an environment where diversity and inclusion is of high importance on the business agenda

CIPD qualified

Experience of operating in a membership or regulatory environment

Experience of operating in the legal profession

Experience of operating in a shared services organisation structure
