The role:
As the Learning and Development Coordinator your primary responsibility will be to support the L&D teams of the SRA and The Law Society in the delivery of L&D initiatives across the organisation. This will include undertaking all administrative duties such as scheduling events within the Learning Management System, processing payments for external parties, sourcing and booking venues and recording L&D expenditure throughout the year.

In addition to these duties the L&D Coordinator will also act as the first port of call for all L&D enquiries, providing an outstanding customer experience to internal and external stakeholders as well as supporting the delivery of key initiatives and projects. Working within the wider HRD team, this is a people focused role requiring the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and identify opportunities to continually improve the L&D experience for our people.

Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Educated to A level standard or relevant professional experience

Using Microsoft Office applications to at least intermediate level

Demonstrates ability to plan ahead, manage expectations, problem solve and work pro-actively and unsupervised

Demonstrates a pro-active, can-do attitude and a focus on the customer experience and service excellence

Comfortable working on multiple activities and supporting multiple stakeholders at one time

Confident communicator able to interact with internal and external stakeholders including third party service providers

Desirable

Experience of working within a learning, training and development environment

Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems preferably Northgate PSE (training will be given to achieve the required standard)

Experience of working with budgets
