The SRA is currently recruiting for an Executive Support PA to deliver support services to Executive Directors primarily through co-ordinating activities and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders. The role holder will provide a wide range of high-level business support services, including:

• Effective management and co-ordination of the Executive Directors’ diaries
• Secretarial and administrative support
• Efficient independent resolution of a wide range of queries and issues on behalf of the Executive Directors through effective engagement with key stakeholders
• Prioritising incoming post/emails, initiating and dealing with actions on own initiative, where appropriate
• Coordinating and compiling reports and documents for Boards and committee meetings
• Working as part of a team, regularly liaising with members of the Executive Support Team and providing general support to the Chief Executive's Office

Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Substantial senior secretarial and administrative experience with supporting vocational qualification(s) and/or extensive practical experience

Up to date IT literacy skills/experience of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Accurate minute taking skills

Good written and verbal communication skills in order to explain data/give routine advice easily and succinctly

Track record of delivering results by owning work and projects, ensuring successful outcomes

Resilient and able to work in a constantly changing environment

Pro-active and makes decisions

Ability to work with tact, diplomacy and discretion at all times

Effectively manages own workload commitments and priorities and act on own initiative

The SRA is the independent regulator of solicitors and law firms in England and Wales, protecting consumers and supporting the rule of law and the administration of justice. We do this by overseeing all education and training requirements necessary to practise as a solicitor, licensing individuals and firms to practise, setting the standards of the profession and regulating and enforcing compliance against these standards.
