We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to support the development and ongoing management of quality assurance across the organisation, ensuring the delivery of our overall objectives. Being an experienced QA professional working in a similar role, you will be used to managing a team, have an exceptional eye for detail and a proven set of analytical skills. Comfortable with quality assurance best practice, audit processes and a capable decision maker, you will be an effective leader with strong influencing skills.

What we’re looking for:
• Management and the effective delivery of Quality Assurance in a high volume casework environment
• The provision of meaningful analysis and interpretation of QA for management with forward planning and a strategic overview
• Production of QA reports for both internal and external publication
• Excellent stakeholder management – at all levels
• An in depth knowledge of ISO9001 or equivalent quality systems
• Influencing the operational direction of the Business Improvement and Quality Assurance unit

Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Experience of effective operational management of a small team

Experience of quality assurance best practice and methodologies

Experience & knowledge of audit processes

Proven people management skills

Demonstrates energy, commitment, resilience and reliability under pressure

Strong influencing and communication skills and track record of forging strong working relationships with stakeholders

A confirmed track record of successfully setting and achieving targets

Able to prepare clear and concise documents and present arguments verbally in a persuasive manner; tailored appropriately for the audience

Understanding of the principle of equality and diversity, and their application in public policy

Educated to degree level standard, or equivalent

Desirable

Excellent IT skills including Microsoft applications

Experience of working in complex regulatory / legislative settings
