The Role:

To maintain an overview of, and co-ordinate the portfolio of activities undertaken by the D&I team. To provide support and guidance to the team in the effective delivery and evaluation of the services and activities according to agreed milestones, outcomes and performance targets.

• Excellent planning and organisational skills to lead on co-ordination of department wide activity
• Able to multi-task and balance a busy workload, working on several projects at once
• Able to prioritise and use own initiative
• Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels: senior staff, members, and personnel, both from the profession and external organisations

Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Able to multi-task and balance a busy workload, working on several projects at once

Able to prioritize and use own initiative

Remains calm and focused under pressure

Excellent communication skills including writing skills

Team player and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders internal and external.

Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels: senior staff, members, and personnel, both from the profession and external organisations

Excellent IT skills with advanced knowledge of Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and social media tools

Evidence of working on own initiative

Excellent planning and organisational skills to lead on co-ordination of department wide activity

Desirable

Finance administration experience such as raising invoices, purchase orders etc.
