This post is a maternity cover for up to 11 months and can either be based in the Law Society’s Chancery Lane office or home-based. This will have some effect on the remuneration package and will be discussed at interview. The package includes a car cash allowance of £5,600 per annum pro rata.

The Law Society is currently recruiting for a Regional Manager for the South East region. The role is critical for the Law Society's relationship with a broad range of members from a high street to top 100 in London. The role holder will need to be able to grasp the major policy initiatives developed by the Society in the interests of its members together with the commercial products that it offers them. Acting as a valuable liaison point, the role holder will be responsible for developing and managing the relationship with a group of high profile accounts and segments of the membership delivering value for them while maximising both brand strength and revenue for the Law Society.

The south region covers the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and west Sussex. A number of outer London boroughs are also included.

Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Extensive experience in business to business customer relationship management with a variety of stakeholders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal confidently and diplomatically with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to spot common issues and interests between different communities and identify implications and ideas to promote effective relationship building

Strong planning and organising skills and ability to prioritise competing demands

Experience of delivering events and presentations to key stakeholders

Ability to develop and maintain high level relationships internally and externally

Strong commercial awareness to develop business opportunities for the profession

Achievement driven to secure maximum value and engagement from accounts

Experience of developing and executing successful account plans.
