The Law Society (TLS) Shaping our Future programme requires an experienced programme manager to deliver the Member Experience programme.  The Member Experience programme is central to the delivery of the design principles for 2022.  The programme has multiple concurrent and sequenced projects aimed at enhancing the Law Society member experience. 

Member Experience programme manager reports to the Executive sponsor Transformation Director and is responsible for programme delivery, budget and change management, managing the day to day co-ordination of the programme on behalf of the Member Experience Sponsor and Programme Steering Group working across the organisation.  The Programme Managers role is to lead the programme and support the Steering Group to: 

  • Identify and deliver member experience improvements in the short and medium term.  
  • Co-ordinate member experience projects and prioritise project activity for member benefit.  
  • Agree requirements for projects or Minimum Viable Products in Member Experience programme. 
  • Oversight of the implementation of the Learning and Development member offer.  
  • Design and implement the new CRM and Digital projects  
  • Use agile project delivery where applicable, to release benefit to members as early as possible. 
  • Champion TLS design principles moving to a more member focused culture 

Must have:

  • Experience in delivering Customer Experience programmes
  • Strong people management skills
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong coaching, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Experience of Agile/Waterfall methodology - Agile/ Prince 2 practitioner or equivalent
  • Significant proven Project/ Programme Management experience
  • Strong budgeting/financial/Benefits management
  • Extensive experience in managing IT and business-focused projects
  • Strong risks and issues management
