Corporate Solutions is looking to recruit a new Facilities Relationship Officer to assist the Facilities team in delivering high quality and safe workplace. The role holder will be responsible for day-to-day operational management of Facilities Management(FM) arrangements and performance monitoring and assisting with specific projects in the department. They will manage the outsourced multi-service FM contract to include Premises Maintenance (both Reactive and PPM), FM Helpdesk, Waste, Cleaning and Security. Other key responsibilities will include assisting with the delivery of in-house FM services such as Health & Safety, DDA compliance, EMS internal audits, Emergency Planning and Risk Management and Post.

Essential

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

Good level of general higher education such as NVQ level 5 and/or minimum of a BIFM Level 3 Certificate in FM Practice or equivalent

NEBOSH Certificate in the Health & Well-Being at Work or equivalent National General Certificates e.g. H&S, Fire Safety, Risk Management

Practical knowledge of relevant other FM legislation such as waste and emissions

Proven FM experience in a large organisation to include FM Helpdesk and PPM

Proven ability of effective team and contract management and development

Articulate and numerate i.e. proven ability in spoken and written communication and accurate production and interpretation of budgets and statistics

Proven personal skills dealing with a wide range of internal and external contacts, with the ability to influence relevant outcomes

Experience of an environmental management system. EMS Internal auditor

Be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

An understanding of floor plans and software such as AutoCAD

Understanding of FM data base systems such as Archibus and IPD

Experience of tender exercises and contract and general negotiation
